It was with great sadness that we learned of Pamela Southwell's passing on 3rd December 2022.
She was a member of the WA Music Teachers’ Association for 49 years and appreciated the legacy of such honourable past colleagues as Wallace Tate, Stephen Dornan, Stephanie Coleman and Heather Britten, as well as those serving in the recent past and present.
Pam’s Christian faith was the foundation of her life and expressed in her philosophy of music education. She treated students and colleagues as individuals with kindness and patience and always esteemed others.
She was a regular at WAMTA events, and her gracious presence will be sorely missed by all.
