Paul Lewis: Mozart+
Musica Viva Australia | 2026 Concert Season
Internationally acclaimed British pianist Paul Lewis returns to Australia this October, turning his attention to the extraordinary world of Mozart’s piano sonatas.
The program places two of Mozart’s sonatas alongside works by Poulenc and Debussy, exploring the contrasts and connections between these composers and Mozart’s distinctive piano writing.

AMEB in Concert

Presented as part of the inaugural Hear Her Now festival, celebrating 100 works by 100 women composers, this concert brings repertoire from the AMEB syllabus to life with Mirabilis Collective and students from Methodist Ladies’ College. A great opportunity for students and teachers to discover new repertoire and hear familiar works beyond the classroom.

WA Day of Guitar
Saturday 24 October | 1-5pm
Classical guitar students of all ages and levels are invited to UWA for a day of workshops, demonstrations and ensemble playing with leading WA performers and educators. Students will develop their technique, explore new repertoire and perform together in an informal concert.

Electronic Music & Sound Design| Exhibition tour and course information night
Wed 4 Nov | 5-7pm
Hosted by staff and graduating students, take a guided tour of the FAM +26 UWA Fine Arts + Electronic Music and Sound Design Graduate Exhibition, followed by information sessions on the Fine Arts, and Electronic Music and Sound Design Majors at UWA. This is an opportunity to meet Fine Arts and EMSD staff and students, ask questions, and gain insight into our hands-on creative programs.
