WAMTA organises a variety of social events throughout the year. We endeavour to spread them around the metropolitan area, on different days and times, to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend.
AGM Afternoon Tea
Following our Annual General Meeting in March, we hold an afternoon tea for members to catch up over a cuppa and bite to eat. Again, members are invited to bring a plate to share.
Coffee Catch Ups
We hold monthly coffee catch ups at a variety of cafes, hosted by a WAMTA council member. Days, times and locations vary to offer the opportunity to attend to as many people as possible. We usually rotate between north and south of the river. One of our most popular ones is Tuesday morning at the Mid-Century Cafe in Yokine! Look for our WAMTA table sign!
Christmas Function
We finish the year with a meal together in early-mid December in a central location. In recent years we have found holding it on a Friday lunchtime at the Como Hotel has proven to be a popular option.
