Compositions must be based on an original idea – not an arrangement of an existing work.
Up to three (3) compositions may be submitted in one entry, the total not to exceed the maximum specified time limit. A legible, hand-written or printed score must be submitted.
Compositions can be for any solo instrument or combinations of instruments and may be performed by instrumentalists other than the composer/entrant. The composer should ensure that the composition can be adequately performed.
