Annual General Meeting

The WAMTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday 11th February 2024 at 2:30 pm.

This AGM will include 2 special resolutions:

  • a minor update to the Constitution, to move the information in the By-Law back into the main constitution document - see revised draft
  • selling the WAMTA office (please see details that were published in the December Presto)

The meeting votes on subscription fees and recommended lesson fees, as well as electing the WAMTA Council (WAMTA's Committee of Management).  

All Teaching and Accredited Teaching members who are in financial good standing are able to vote; other members are most welcome (and encouraged!) to attend the AGM, as we will be presenting reports on the previous financial year and will have an opportunity for Q&A.

Call for Nominations for the WAMTA Council

We invite nominations for the WAMTA Council, including a student representative, to be emailed to admin@wamta.org.au. Please see the WAMTA Council page for information about what is expected of Council members.

We encourage members who have not been on the Council before to consider nominating, to bring fresh ideas and perspectives.

The meeting will be held at an accessible venue:

Victoria Park Community Centre - Meeting Room 2
248 Gloucester St, East Victoria Park

The meeting is followed by afternoon tea.
