Annual General Meeting

The WAMTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Sunday 12th March 2023 at 2:30 pm.

This AGM included a special resolution to update our Constitution, to bring it in line with requirements of the Incorporations Act 2015. Please familiarise yourself with the documents on the Constitution page carefully prior to the AGM.

The meeting votes on subscription fees and recommended lesson fees, as well as electing the Council.  

All Teaching and Accredited Teaching members who are in financial good standing are able to vote; other members are most welcome (and encouraged!) to attend the AGM, as we will be presenting reports on the previous financial year and will have an opportunity for Q&A.

Nominate for Council

We invite nominations for Council, including a student representative, to be emailed to admin@wamta.org.au. Please see the WAMTA Council page for information about what is expected of Council members.

We encourage members who have not been on the Council before to consider nominating, to bring fresh ideas and perspectives.

AGM Venue

The meeting was held at a new venue this year since the WAMTA office is not an accessible building. The new venue is accessible to those with impaired mobility:

Victoria Park Community Centre - Meeting Room 2
248 Gloucester St, East Victoria Park

The meeting is followed by afternoon tea.
