All WAMTA Members are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the West Australian Music Teachers’ Association on Sunday 9th March 2025 commencing at 3:30 pm.
We will again be meeting at the Victoria Park Community Centre, as it is an accessible venue (no stairs) with ample parking.
The meeting will be followed by afternoon tea. Several members will be bringing musical instruments along to enjoy some music during the afternoon as well. There is a kitchen on site that we have access to, and we encourage you to stay on and chat if you can!
Nominations & Voting
We invite nominations for Council (our WAMTA committee of management), including a student representative and Companion member representative, to be emailed to admin@wamta.au. We encourage members who have not been on the Council before to consider nominating, to bring fresh ideas and perspectives. You can learn more about the Council on our website.
The agenda, proxy form and reports will be circulated closer to the meeting, and will be available from the members section of the AGM page.
All Teaching and Accredited Teaching members who are in financial good standing are able to vote. Other members are most welcome (and encouraged!) to attend the AGM, as we will be presenting reports on the previous financial year and will have an opportunity for Q&A.
