Finnish virtuoso and the Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music Paavali Jumppanen is one of the most imaginative and versatile concert pianists, and is joining the University of Western Australia in 2023 as an Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Artist.
In this concert on Sunday 28th May 2023, he will present Chopin’s beloved Piano Sonata in B-flat Minor, Op. 35 , Liszt's Piano Sonata in B minor, as well as rarely heard works by Finnish composers Kuusisto and Tarkiainen.
