WAMTA regularly provides performance opportunities for music students in Perth, both competitive and non-competitive. We have also compiled a list of other festivals and competitions available to WA music students.
Non Competitive Concerts
The monthly Student Forum concert is a non-competitive performance opportunity exclusively for students of WAMTA teachers. It is held on the first Saturday of the month in South Perth.
The Theatre Organ Society of Australia (Western Australia) welcomes WAMTA teachers and their students to perform in their free, informal monthly concerts on the first Sunday of the month in Nedlands. A theatre organ and grand piano is available, and any instrument (including singing) is welcome during the musical afternoon.
