Develop your delivery of, and skills in jazz with internationally acclaimed leading Jazz Educator Dean Sorenson (USA).
On a national tour, Sorenson will walk educators through sessions designed for the West Australian curriculum, covering key aspects of the curriculum including ‘The First Steps’, ‘The Rhythm Section’, and ‘Improvisation for the Reluctant Improvisor’ before walking through analysing jazz charts.
A reading session, featuring Metro Big Band (participants are welcome to join in or observe) is included to ensure your classroom and conducting skills are taken to the next level.
